The Shambhala Center will field a team to participate in the Emerald Necklace Conservancy’s Muddy River Cleanup. The Muddy River Cleanup is a part of the Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup; this event takes place throughout the Charles River Watershed and builds on a national effort as part of American Rivers’ National River Cleanup® which, to date, has removed over 25 million pounds of trash from America’s waterways.

The Muddy River is our backyard. Sign up to join the team. Details of where to meet and what to wear and bring will be provided later.

The center has offered to have our bathrooms available for volunteers from other teams, so if you can’t be working outside on the river, we also need a couple of people to keep the center open during those hours.

Please contact Mary Lang with any questions.
