Room: Small Meditation Hall

On this annual day of remembrance we will mix the nyinthun practice of sitting meditation with readings and chanting of  The Rain of Wisdom: The Vajra Songs of the Kagyu Gurus, a text translated under the guidance of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The text consists of stories, poetry and dohas (songs) of the great meditators of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, composed by Milarepa, Marpa, Gampopa, Karmapa, Jamgon Kongtrul and other renowned lineage holders. By reading their stories aloud we invoke their blessings and gain inspiration from their life examples.

The program will go from 9:00am - 5:00pm. All are welcome regardless of experience; please join us for all or part of the day. While we encourage full immersion in the whole day, it is ok to join for any part(s) of the day.
