    Live sessions: Sundays, Sept 24, Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 & Nov 1 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm EST

Profound, potent, and intimate, this course includes videos of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche teaching that provide a rare glimpse of the early days of Buddhism in the West. The Tibetan Buddhist Path was the first seminar given by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche during the inaugural summer session at Naropa Institute in 1974. More than a thousand spiritual seekers received these seminal teachings in fourteen talks, which include:

Part II (September – November 2023)
    Bodhisattva & Paramita
Tradition & Sanity in Zen & Tibetan Buddhism
    Meditation & the Fourth Moment
    The Doha Tradition
    Nirvana & Mysticism

Almost fifty years later, these teachings remain undiminished in relevance. Each talk includes the complete question-and-answer session. The set is accompanied by a study guide.

Live sessions in Part 1 and 2 of this course will be led by: Dale Asrael, Carla Marie Burns, Rhea Colmar, June Crow, Lödro Dorje, Harry Einhorn, Gaylon Ferguson, Marty Janowitz, Travis May, Larry Mermelstein, Tillie Perks, Lauren Sanford, and Judith Simmer-Brown.

Live sessions will feature short video excerpts of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche teaching, readings from Cynicism and Magic (the book that is based on these teachings), and contemplations and other exercises to deepen one’s understanding of these profound teachings.

The original, full-length Chögyam Trungpa talks will also be available to view in the Courseware along with the Live recordings.

Open to all. No prerequisites required.
