    This is an event put on by the town of Brookline, MA and not hosted or sponsored by the Boston Shambhala Center.

    The Brookline Indigenous Peoples Celebration Committee, in partnership with the Native American Indian Center of Boston and the Brookline Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Relations, invite Brookline residents to participate in the 2021 Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Coolidge Corner area at the Florida Ruffin Ridley School cafeteria and playground, 345 Harvard St., Brookline.  

    The event will include free food from Manoa Poke Shop, various local Indigenous art and craft vendor booths and opportunities to learn about the history and current political and social justice actions of Indigenous peoples in Brookline and throughout Massachusetts.  

    This event is free for all and open to the public. The event will follow the town of Brookline’s mask mandate for indoor spaces.
