We are honored and delighted that Ven. Khandro Rinpoche will give a community talk at the Shambhala Center on Wednesday August 14th at 3 pm.

Venerable Khandro Rinpoche has a long history with Shambhala, and has offered her support and care many times over the past twenty years - most recently at the Amsterdam Shambhala Center last March.
Khandro Rinpoche a holder of the Kagyü and Nyingma Tibetan Buddhist lineages, has been teaching internationally for over two decades and is fluent in English. Her teachings are known for their incisiveness and humor.

We will have a light pot luck reception for our community after the talk.

We are suggesting a $20 donation for the talk, with an opportunity to give an additional teaching gift at the door. This event is not open to the public, but is for the Shambhala Community.

If you are available to help with this event - set up, registration, sound, reception, clean up, etc - please email Mary Lang [email protected]

If you would like to attend Khandro Rinpoche's public teachings in Boston that week they will be Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at the Wilson Chapel in Newton. She is teaching on "Pointing out the Dharmakaya", the shortest of three treatises on this topic by the 9th Karmapa Wangchuk Dorje (1556–1603), an accomplished master of Mahamudra. This text is a profound Mahamudra teaching on discovering the nature of mind.
