This Saturday morning restorative workshop will is open to all practice levels. We will blend gentle body shapes, movement and breath awareness, to support warming and opening the body while also settling of the mind. Our teacher, community member Lakota Sandoe, can offer therapeutic assists while in supported restorative poses for anyone who would like this extra step.

Unwind the nervous system to bring mental, physical, and emotional ease to the beginning of your weekend. The practice ends with with Yoga Nidra, a delicious guided relaxation, that releases deeper tensions and recharges your batteries. Expect to leave with greater body awareness and a relaxed glow to help feel refreshed and grounded.

Lakota Sandoe - Her teaching draws on over 1000 hours of Yoga Training, the work of Embodyoga and Body-mind Centering, Shambhala Warrior Training, Trauma Study, as well as countless hours of private Therapeutic Yoga work. She recently received international recognition as a Yoga Therapist specializing in trauma integration.


This workshop is open to all, no yoga experience is necessary. We invite you to wear loose or stretchy comfortably fitting, layers. A large shawl, or small blanket, may be appreciated for the end of practice. You're welcome to bring a yoga mat if you would like, but it's not necessary.

Note: Participants are fully empowered to anonymously opt-out of any touch, using consent cards at any point in the practice. No one will be touched who prefers not to be, and this should not be a deterrent for attending. Lakota is happy to answer any questions about the practice before hand: [email protected]


Payment: This class is limited to 28 participants so that each person can get the most from their time. Pre-payment is required to reserve your space. Please sumbit payment via credit card or PayPal when registering for a guaranteed spot.

Time: We will begin this workshop promptly at 10:00am and there will not be anyone available to open the door for latecomers. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled so we can begin on time. There will be tea and water available in our community room.
