Meet Reverend Kim!

One of the best parts about putting together the Moving Forward: Boston Strong in Everyday Life event with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche has been the amazing friendship and partnership that has been extended by Arlington Street Church. At the heart of that friendship is Reverend Kim Crawford Harvie, senior minister at the church, who has been extraordinarily kind and and supportive as we work together to put on this event.

Reverend Kim’s leadership is widely admired and respected, not only in the Unitarian Universalist community and interfaith community, but also in the Greater Boston community as a whole. It has been a true honor and inspiration to work with her and her team at Arlington Street Church to build this event.

Last week, Shambhala’s President, Richard Reoch, made a brief trip into Boston and had dinner with Reverend Kim. It was everything one could hope for to see these two dynamic, inspired leaders who are passionate about social justice and human rights, get together and share stories and ideas. We very much hope and believe that this is just the beginning!

You can learn more about Reverend Kim here. And there are still a limited number of tickets available for the Moving Forward event next Saturday – click here for more information!
