Refuge & Bodhisattva Vow Ceremonies
with Acharya Emily Bower
The Vow Ceremony for both vows will take place Friday evening (more details to come). There will be a time for name interviews Friday afternoon. The Refuge Vow portion of the ceremony is open to everyone, while the Bodhisattva Vow ceremony can only be attended by those who have already taken that vow. Those taking the Bodhisattva Vow are welcome to invite their Meditation Instructor, Bodhisattva friends, and teachers to come and witness the ceremony. Those taking the Refuge Vow are welcome to invite friends and family as well.
A reception will follow the Vow Ceremony. When you register, please put in the notes section how many people you plan to invite so we can plan for the reception.
Participants planning on taking one of the vows must request their Meditation Instructor to submit a short letter of recommendation, which can be mailed to the center or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
