Internship Program: Creating Enlightened Society
The internship program is for anyone interested in deepening their meditation practice, strengthening their leadership skills and contributing to creating enlightened society through supporting the Shambhala Center of Boston.
Time Length Options
Six months minimum commitment for the internship term.
Range of 10-35 hours/wk
Shambhala Boston office hours are Monday – Friday 11:00 to 6:00pm
Interns are expected to work primarily during office hours.
The role of an intern is to support the work of the Shambhala Center in a variety of ways. Areas of service may include website/communications, program support, facilities work, community organizing, and administrative/office support. Interns will commit to supporting a regularly scheduled offering such as 30s & Under, Shambhala Gathering, LGBT, etc.

First program free and 50% off programs at Shambhala Boston thereafter during time as an intern (for people committing 10-20 hrs/wk)
Free programs at Shambhala Boston during time as an intern (for people committing 20-35 hrs/wk)
Additional program credit can be used post-internship if it is not used during the 6-month period ($15/hr; for people committing 20-35 hrs/wk).
